How do I send you songs? We do not accept unsolicited material. You can request join the facebook group (answer the questions) and respond to pitches that are posted there. Alternatively, you can book a coaching session to review songs and help you with any questions.
Do you license cover songs? No, we only license original songs by independent artists. All songs must be fully written and owned by the artist(s) pitching, we do not work with labels or 3rd party publishers. The only exception to this is a public domain holiday song.
I work with a music library or sync agency, can I send you songs from our artists? No, we do not work with music libraries or 3rd parties, we only work directly with artists.

I have never licensed songs before, what do I do? We would highly recommend you read this page and also book a coaching session. The way you show up professionally can make or break your chances at getting placements (and even relationships that will lead to placements).
How much does a placement pay? The payments can vary depending on the budget of the project. Note that we do not ever place music for free and will work to get the best rate we can for the artists we are working with.
Do you license instrumentals? No, we focus on songs with lyrics.
Do you license songs with explicit lyrics? No, we do not work on adult films of any kind. We expect our music to be appropriate lyrically without explicit lyrics.
Are your agreements exclusive? No, we work with artists non-exclusively.
Do you take a portion of my publishing? No, we split the sync fee 50/50 but all artists/writers retain their publishing in full.
